The Supreme Court order
After a 6-year-old girl in Delhi died of rabies in June 2025, the Court ruled on the street dog menace. It ordered stray dogs relocated into overcrowded municipal pounds.
Misinformation burns
Misinformation spread like wildfire
Though the Supreme Court reversed its initial ruling, stating that all municipal bodies are responsible for implementing ABC Rules, 2023, the seed had been planted and a war began.
